The Lincoln Jr. High Speech team competed in the I.E.S.A. state contest on Saturday, Oct. 31st at  Springfield Christian School.   The team earned 14 first place awards and 6 second place awards.   Four events received the Judges’ Choice award for outstanding performances of the day.  These included:

        “Exit Stage Right”:  Steven Schleich, Alishia Debord, and Elijah Chapman

        “This Man Needs Help”:  Brianna Dye and Kieran Foster

        “A Fine Line”:  Gabrielle Brumfield and Rebecca Stein

        “Holy Taters, Kemosabee!”:  Steven Schleich and Elijah Chapman
